Hi, I’m Jonas

I’m a personal trainer, amputee, husband, and father of three. I’m also a lover of saunas, cold water, long lunches, and camping.

My journey into fitness began after my deformed leg was amputated at the age of 20. Following physiotherapy to relearn how to walk and recover from the operation, I was left with a prognosis that I’d likely be in a wheelchair by 50.

For years, I tried to numb the pain of living with a lifelong disability through drinking. Eventually, I turned to training and 12 step recovery instead. Strengthening my body and building a resilient mindset became my way forward. Training offered me a path to freedom, physically and mentally.

What started as training for myself soon grew into training others. That journey took me into competition, sprinting as part of Team GB in 2012, and later competing as a fitness model. Eventually, I made a life-changing decision: to focus on a natural approach to fitness. I wanted to nourish my body, not exhaust it. In 2018, I moved from the UK to Mallorca, where my coaching philosophy continued to evolve through learning from leading specialists.

With more than 16 years of professional experience, I’ve worked alongside world-class coaches, athletes, and everyday people, witnessing how movement creates both freedom and fulfillment.

I’ve been trained by Dan Pfaff, one of the world’s leading athletic coaches, and I’ve coached incredible individuals myself—such as Louis Rolfe, professional cyclist and Paralympic gold medalist, whom I supported with strength and conditioning.

I’ve also worked with Josh, who lost his leg in a hit-and-run accident at 17 and rebuilt his strength through rehabilitation training; Simon, who overhauled his lifestyle in his 50s after two heart attacks; and Anne Marie, who was finally able to return to horse riding in her 60’s after 20 years of chronic back pain.

From Ironman competitors to London Marathon runners—and countless others—I’ve seen how exercise transforms people into healthier, happier, stronger versions of themselves.

What I’ve learned from both my own journey and my clients’ is simple: stronger, healthier bodies transform lives. Wherever you begin, the only way is up.

Regular movement improves every aspect of health, and in the end, nothing matters more than health itself.

What People Are Saying

I met Jonas a few months after my accident. He was the first amputee who showed me that my new disability didn’t need to be a hindrance. After being in a wheelchair for several months I started training hoping to lose weight and gain strength. His personality and dedication to help me succeed made me stick with my training consistently. With Jonas I have learnt how to maintain a healthy diet as well as how to train considering my strengths and limitations.
