Accomodation
We can advise on where to stay or make your own choice. From hotels and town houses to rural fincas, there are plenty of places to stay in Alaro - here are some of our favourites -
Transport
Alaro is 20 minutes from the city of Palma and approximately 25 minutes from Palma de Mallorca airport. We can help you to organise transport.
Alaro is most easily accessible by car.
Taxis - taxis are easily available from the airport. There is a limited taxi service in Alaro. We can organise airport transfers for you.
Car hire - Palma de Mallorca is a major airport with a wide range of car rental choices.
Train - The nearest train station to Alaro is in Consell (5km). From here you can take the train to the centre of Palma.
Bike - Bike Hire is available from two businesses in Alaro - Cycling Planet and North Wind Cycles. Mountain bikes, road bikes and electric bikes are available.
Location
With a thriving, active Mallorcan community, the village is warm and welcoming. We have a weekly Saturday market, several fiestas throughout the year and frequent concerts and sporting events.
Nutrition
Mallorca has fantastic fresh produce and you will be able to enjoy it at our weekly Saturday market or at one of the several restaurants in the village. Or, you could hike up to the famous lamb restaurant Es Verger.
We can advise and help with bookings, in Alaro or in other locations on the island. If you would prefer a more bespoke menu, we can provide freshly prepared meals too.
